Not So Gaga Over Yoga

I decided to try something new today. I attended the Body Balance class in Fitness First. Body Balance is a combination of Yoga and Tai-Chi.

Before today, I knew that I am not a yoga person. But I thought, what the heck! I can try something new just to check if I can do it. Well, I can do it and I did it... but did I enjoy it? Not a bit. I'm sorry to the yoga fanatics, but I just hated it!

I was bored and I thought everything was sooooo slow. I miss my dance classes where I can spin and grind to my heart's desire. The yoga experience was... just so sad. I missed the adrenaline rush. I missed the sweat dripping from my skin. I missed the heart-pumping beat of fast dance music. While I was doing yoga, all I could think about is the retro class scheduled tomorrow at 10am!

They said yoga was supposed to bring calm and peace to your body and soul. I guess I just didn't need that. So, will I try yoga again? Maybe not for the next 6 months. After that, who knows?
