The First Mile: Checking my progress

I started at 184 pounds with a vital statistics of 39.5-39-42. In the past month or so, I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I have cut down my food consumption to about 35% of my usual intake. I have avoided pork and beef, stopped drinking softdrinks, and ate more fruits and vegetables. It has been five weeks now. Here’s a list of my weekly progress:

Week 1: 181 lbs. = Lost 3 pounds
Week 2: 181 lbs. = Lost 0 pounds
Week 3: No record, forgot to weigh
Week 4: 177 lbs. = Lost 4 pounds
Week 5: 176 lbs. = Lost 1 pound

Total pounds lost: 8 lbs in 5 weeks
Vital Statistics: 39-37.5-42

Not bad. Not bad at all…
